The website www.leyton.ca (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) is edited by the company Leyton Inc. The use of the Site is governed by the terms and conditions of use laid down in the present legal notice. By accessing our Site and using it, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of use set forth below. Leyton reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of use of its Site at its discretion and without prior notice. If you do not wish to abide by these terms and conditions, you must leave this Site immediately and cease to use it.

General Terms and Conditions of Access to and Use of the Site

The user declares that they have read and understood the provisions of the present legal notice, and that they have fully and unreservedly accepted the terms laid down before any visit to the Site. Leyton sees to it that the Site is accessible 24/7, except in the case of impossibility resulting from a superior force (as defined in the Civil Code of Québec), any possible failure or any maintenance operation required to ensure the proper operation of the Site. The user acknowledges they have the skills and equipment needed to access and use the Site.

Disclaimer

The information featured in the Site is presented as is. Consequently, Leyton cannot guarantee its accuracy, exhaustiveness or suitability for any specific use, regardless of its nature.
All the elements contained in the Site have the sole objective of providing the user with information of a general nature. None of the comments or information contained in the Site express an opinion on matters of a legal, accounting or fiscal nature.

Protection of Personal Data

Leyton acknowledges the importance of protecting the personal data of the users of the Leyton Site.
The user declares that they are aware that the personal data they communicate, notably by filling out the forms featured on t.he Site, may be forwarded and used by Leyton subject to certain requirements. Leyton guarantees to respect the personal nature of the data communicated and ensures its integrity. The e-mail address, identity (last name, first name, date and place of birth), occupation, phone and fax number and postal address are the only personal data which may be collected by Leyton. The personal data collected in this way may only be used for purposes of identification and statistics production. The period during which it may be stored is determined in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
Leyton cannot provide the user with a guarantee against the loss of data, its use for illegal purposes, or its fraudulent modification or alteration.

Intellectual Property Notice

The Site and all of the elements of which it is comprised, notably including but not limited to programmes, data, databases, texts, moving and non-moving pictures, sounds, drawings and graphics, are the property of Leyton or used under licence. All of these elements constitute the trademarks, commercial names or works protected by copyright or by other intellectual property rights of Leyton, whether Leyton is their rightful owner or has been granted a licence, and Leyton owns the right of use and reproduction of these elements. Viewing the Site does not create any licence or assignment of the rights relating to the elements of the Site, unless otherwise expressly specified by the Site. Any copy, reproduction, representation, adaptation or distribution of all or part of this Site and its contents, in any form and by any means whatsoever, is illegal, unless otherwise expressly agreed by Leyton in writing.
