Quebec and Ottawa will inject around 300 million dollars in 37 projects of research managed by Quebecers researchers
Quebec and Ottawa will inject around 300 million dollars in 37 projects of research managed by Quebecers researchers. Quebec’s contribution would be of 117 million dollars and the remainder will come from the federal counterpart, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). The money will mainly go to the improvement and the modernisation of research infrastructures spread among universities and hospitals of five regions of Quebec. The chosen projects will be related to the following sectors: health, environment, global warming, optic-photonic, nanotechnology and foresty.
